Gotta love the police just ignoring the theft in their jurisdiction. Like, the weather there must be perfect to justify living under a government that decrepit.
I'm still against the shut down, but Bill made the best argument for dems shutting down the government I've heard so far. I wish the democrats were making it.
If the Democrats are "winning", maybe the premise that Democrats are pro-government should be amended to pro-"Democrat government." The appetite of their voters to throw a wrench in the government and laugh seems a match for a subset of MAGA was under Biden, and likewise now people on the Right are calling for the removal of all obstacles that slow down their majority party from overriding all opposition.
The two-party system has devolved into the most brain-dead and principle-less form of Democracy imaginable, and frankly the hypocrisy of both sides pretending to have the moral high-ground grants the blatant autocracy in other countries the rosy sheen of honesty.

I think thanksgiving week is the max it can last, slow TSA and air travel delay/shutdown on that week will cause riots .
