Was there a single day the US military wasn’t winning the conventional war against Iraq and Vietnam?
Those wars were lost to the steady trickle of costs to holes with bamboo spears and IEDs. Could this one be lost to guys building drones in a garage? Can we have an unconventional war expert weigh in and are there lessons to take from the way Ukraine resists the conventionally superior forces of Russia?
The lesson: have American weapons and intelligence.
IMO death toll is the biggest difference between this and Vietnam or Korea. It’s still low. However, that’s going to change if we put boots on the ground.
