How much longer is this going to go?
Does the Senator for Georgia have the Vid or not?
NOTE FROM THE JURY: We are trying out Substack. It seems to be a platform that is focused on writing. I like Mailchimp but it’s largely focused on selling shoes and stuff. Substack does also feature the ability to subscribe. I will probably turn that on. But not this week. Email feedback section will always be free. The main email will always be free. If I do something behind a paywall it’ll be extra.
And without further ado…
HOW MUCH LONGER?
Trump requests GA recount… again after PA setback
AXIOS
First the fair-weather friends, then the loyalists and finally the fans. We are now weeks away from Election Day and Trump 2020 has yet to produce momentum that could change anything. The question now for Trump is, at what point is he more powerful as a candidate than he is a bitter loser? The longer we drag this out the longer Trump isn’t a powerful candidate or kingmaker but rather a man who lost and can’t admit it.
Even Tucker Carlson is getting antsy.

A segment like that is basically him blinking “CONCEDED AND ANNOUNCE” in morse code.

GA Sen. Loeffler tests negative for COVID after positive test
AXIOS
Weird thought… would it be better to get COVID at this stage? Figure campaigning is will slow down for Thanksgiving anyway. By the time you are recovered by CDC standards you can lick every face in Georgia.
I guess you might die. Or kill someone. That’s probably a good enough reason to not do it.
Parler blooms as election drags on
POLITICO
Parler has long been a place people can go to bitch about Twitter. Lately however, Twitter has been a place where you can bitch about Parler. Trends would seem to indicate that we are headed for bubble eco-systems since the eco-systems that previously made internal bubbles aren’t safely insulating us enough.

Election Update from Thruple Country - CA District 25
While the world watches the the Presidential ballot audits and starts turning towards Georgia as the next big election. Out here is California we actually have an election that is "to close to call". The hotly contested CA District 25 race is down to about 100 votes difference. Now the candidates have till Dec 9th to physically go door to door and "cure" ballots. Which to my understanding is getting voters to fill out a bunch of paperwork about their signature. Talk about a ground game. - NICK
I once fantasized during the 2000 recount that they would just re-run the election but only in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. I don’t know if I’ve had a happier thought.
You can get the latest results on CA-25 here.

Reply All had a call-in "How do you feel, now that the election is over" show. An African American woman said the election taught her that the majority of white people hate her because of the colour of her skin because the majority of white people voted for Trump.
That's a heartbreaking conclusion, but depending on the media you consume, it's an easy conclusion to make.
There's plenty to criticise when it comes to Trump, but if you can't conceptualise someone who isn't racist voting for him, that's a problem.
Ironically, this inability to conceptualise the non-racist Trump voter makes liberals who can't fathom the views of say, 50 Cent or Ice Cube, to sound racist AF when criticising them, because clearly they can't be rational.
Epstein didn't kill himself and Trump never said white supremacists are "very fine people" (not literally anyway).
I think there was a lot of racial damage done during the Trump administration. I'm just not sure he was the cause of all of it.
Again, no MAGA though. - KEN
