We’re at one of those moments where everything feels like it’s accelerating. The pressure on Trump, the Senate, the economy — all of it’s tied together, and none of it is happening in isolation. Take Iran. What started as a standoff is inching toward something bigger. Trump is openly posting that he has control of the skies, that he knows where Khamenei is hiding, that surrender is the only acceptable outcome. And sure, a lot of that is bluster, but when you layer it onto the real capabilities — the bunker busters, the fact that Fordo is a target — you start to see where this goes.
I think we’re looking at airstrikes. I think Trump’s goal is to hit Fordo hard and fast, then get out before the situation spirals. But that assumes nothing goes wrong. No American base gets hit. No plane gets shot down. No terror attack triggers calls for boots on the ground. That’s the risk.
