Mixed messages are often the only messages broadcast by the fractured Trump team but it does beg the question: will Big Chungus himself weigh in and if so, could it affect the January 5th runoff?
This is slated to be a low-turnout affair and bedrock Republicans normally show up for such things. More over, it’s the first realpolitik test of how much Trump wants to be involved in the nitty gritty of party politics if he isn’t at the head of it. The last time he wasn’t the president he spent most of his time as a primary candidate blow torching the Grand Old Party.

Certainly SOME amount of MAGA diehards will want to punish the state GOP for not fully complying with Trump’s wishes on the recount. The freshly-jettisoned Sidney Powell suggested Gov. Kemp himself was part of a conspiracy against the president. I don’t think Trump’s thinking right now goes any further than this election.
