Multiple people texted me this weekend asking if Donald Trump died.
Seriously. They were coming to me as “the politics guy” and genuinely wanted confirmation. I had no idea what they were talking about. I missed the whole origin of the rumor. Apparently, there were whispers about him not being seen for a bit, a canceled flight to Bedminster, and suddenly people were in full conspiracy mode.
This has shaken me to my core.
