Angie Nixon defeated Alexander Vindman 56 to 44 in Florida’s Democratic Senate primary. Vindman moved to Florida about five minutes ago and attempted to carpetbag his way into the nomination against Ashley Moody. Instead, an actual Floridian who happens to be a Democratic Socialist beat him by double digits while he still had $6 million in the bank. There are failures, noble failures, loud failures, and absolute embarrassments.
Alexander Vindman is an absolute embarrassment. Nixon would be Florida’s first Black senator, but she’s not going to be. This seat is done and dusted. Congratulations to Ashley Moody on six more years in the Senate.
