Epstein Files Become a Political Firestorm
Congress did something few expected: it overwhelmingly approved legislation compelling the Department of Justice to release all remaining Epstein files, a move that sailed through the House and passed by unanimous consent in the Senate. The White House lost its months-long effort to block the bill and is now trying to turn the tables.

While Republican figures have long been associated with Epstein, they insist many more Democrats maintained closer ties. They have already begun highlighting the case of Virgin Islands delegate Stacey Plaskett, whose 2019 text exchanges with Epstein surfaced in recently released oversight documents. Her office maintains that she simply received messages from Epstein as she would from staff or constituents. I, however, remain skeptical.
